Kim received her doctorate of physical therapy from Utica College and her master of physical therapy from Andrews University. Kim has worked in outpatient pediatrics for the past 10 years with other experience including acute care, neuro rehabilitation, and home health care. Kim is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Dayton’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. She has been a clinical instructor for over 20 PT schools across the nation over the past 22 years. Kim is a mother of 4 children. She enjoys being active with her family, hiking, doing crafts, baking, reading and trips to the beach.
Marc is a physical therapist and one of the founders of Synergy! Marc attended school for physical therapy at Andrews University and Utica College for his Masters and Doctorate degrees. Marc is originally from Eureka, IL. Marc’s enthusiasm for helping others realize, regain and/or retain their desired level of function led him to becoming a physical therapist. Marc has worked with a diverse background of patients from newborn to elderly, and work collaboratively with peers to set up clinics for athletics, pediatrics and chronic pain. Ultimately, his enthusiasm combined with his wife, Kim's, passion created Synergy Family Therapy Specialists. Marc likes to be active with his wife and family with games, fitness, outdoor and sporting activities, and family vacations.
Kelsey graduated from the University of Dayton with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She is originally from Beavercreek, Ohio and completed her undergraduate work at the University of Dayton where she studied pre-physical therapy. Kelsey is passionate about helping patients learn how to strengthen and care for their bodies. She has experience working with a variety of populations across the lifespan including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy and developmental delays as well as adults with orthopedic needs. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her niece.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Dayton with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her undergraduate work at Miami University where she studied kinesiology and nutrition. Stephanie is passionate about helping patients meet their goals while having fun and helping each patient reach his or her full potential. She has experience working with a variety of populations across the lifespan including children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Torticollis, and more, as well as adults with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal diagnoses. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
Claire joined Synergy in 2017. She graduated from Medical University of South Carolina with a Master's degree in occupational therapy. She is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Claire has experience with a variety of populations to include developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, cortical visual impairment, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, feeding difficulties, emotional regulation difficulties and working with adults who have neurological and orthopedic concerns. Outside of work she enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with her husband and cats.
Allie graduated from Xavier University with a Master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is originally from Dublin, Ohio. Allie is passionate about helping her patients to increase their independence and participation in everyday activities! She has experience working with a variety of populations including children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Spina Bifida, and adults with neurological disorders such as a stroke. In her free time, Allie enjoys playing soccer, spending time with family, and traveling.
Anna graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Master's degree in occupational therapy. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her undergraduate work at Loyola University Chicago where she studied communications. Anna is passionate about working with a variety of children including children with developmental delays, emotional regulation deficits, genetic disorders, feeding needs, and sensory difficulties. In her free time, Anna enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling.
Stephanie is one of our Speech-Language Pathologists at Synergy! Stephanie Graduated from East Tennessee State University in Speech-Language Pathology. Stephanie became interested in the field due to having a sister with Cerebral Palsy who is nonverbal. Stephanie enjoys being able to work with people to give them access to communication for the first time in their life through AAC. In addition to AAC, Stephanie likes working on building language with late talkers, social skills, feeding and articulation. She has experience working with a variety of populations including children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrome and Apraxia. In addition to her time at Synergy, Stephanie is a peer partner with a group of young adults with Down Syndrome. Stephanie loves to spend time with her dog Harper, participate in intramural sports and travel.
Megan joined Synergy in 2014. She attended the University of Dayton, where she graduated with a degree in Marketing from the School of Business. Megan played softball for the Flyers, during her time at UD. Megan loves getting to know all of our families at Synergy, as well as, watching the patients work hard during their sessions, to reach their goals. Outside of Synergy, Megan loves taking pictures, hiking, crafting, and spending time with her family. Megan and her husband, Chris, live in Kettering. They have one daughter, Lilly, and are expecting their second child.
Katie is a 2019 high school graduate from Waynesville, Ohio. Katie plans to go to cosmetology school to get her esthetician license to do makeup, facials, and more. Katie hopes to go to New York for advance makeup courses, and one day wants to be a makeup artist. She loves talking to people and helping them with anything. In her free time, she's usually with her friends, listening to music, or being creative with her makeup. She has enjoyed meeting all the families and patients that come into Synergy and can't wait to get to know them more.
