Kim is a physical therapist and one of the founders of Synergy! Kim received her doctorate of physical therapy from Utica College and her master of physical therapy from Andrews University. Kim has worked in outpatient pediatrics for the past 10 years with other experience including acute care, neuro rehabilitation, and home health care. Kim is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Dayton’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. She has been a clinical instructor for over 20 PT schools across the nation over the past 22 years. Kim is a mother of 4 children. She enjoys being active with her family, hiking, doing crafts, baking, reading and trips to the beach.

Marc is a physical therapist and one of the founders of Synergy!  Marc attended school for physical therapy at Andrews University and Utica College for his Masters and Doctorate degrees.  Marc is originally from Eureka, IL.  Marc’s enthusiasm for helping others realize, regain and/or retain their desired level of function led him to becoming a physical therapist.  Marc has worked with a diverse background of patients from newborn to elderly, and work collaboratively with peers to set up clinics for athletics, pediatrics and chronic pain.  Ultimately, his enthusiasm combined with his wife, Kim's, passion created Synergy Family Therapy Specialists. Marc likes to be active with his wife and family with games, fitness, outdoor and sporting activities, and family vacations.

Kelsey graduated from the University of Dayton with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She is originally from Beavercreek, Ohio and completed her undergraduate work at the University of Dayton where she studied pre-physical therapy. Kelsey is passionate about helping patients learn how to strengthen and care for their bodies. She has experience working with a variety of populations across the lifespan including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, developmental delays and more as well as adults with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal diagnoses.. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her nieces and nephew.

Stephanie graduated from the University of Dayton with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and completed her undergraduate work at Miami University where she studied kinesiology and nutrition. Stephanie is passionate about helping patients meet their goals while having fun and helping each patient reach his or her full potential. She has experience working with a variety of populations across the lifespan including children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Torticollis, and more, as well as adults with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal diagnoses. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.

Lexi

Lexi graduated from North Central State College with her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. With her husband being in the Air Force she has worked in multiple states and is happy to be living back in her home state of Ohio. She has previously worked as a PTA in a school district in Wyoming and at a pediatric therapy clinic in Tennessee. Lexi is passionate about helping kids reach their full potential and giving them the tools to crush their goals. Her favorite part about working in the pediatric population is the fun and creativity required for each session. She has experience working with children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Torticollis, and many other diagnoses. For fun she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and her puppy.

Ashley graduated from the University of Findlay with a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree. She is originally from Springboro, Ohio and completed her undergraduate degree at Wright State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Ashley is passionate about helping patients strive to be successful in all activities they want to do, need to do, or are expected to do! She has experience working with a variety of populations including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delays, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Sensory processing deficits and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, baking and spending time outdoors with her husband and her golden retriever puppy.

Brooke graduated from Kettering College with a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree. Brooke is originally from Springboro, Ohio and continues to live there with her husband. She completed her undergraduate work at Kettering College where she studied healthcare management on the pre-occupational therapy track. Brooke is passionate about helping others gain greater independence and creating opportunities that allow her clients to successfully engage in their desired occupations. She has experience working in outpatient pediatrics, skilled nursing, and in-patient rehab settings. In her free time, Brooke enjoys running, reading, crafting, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog

​Melissa graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2003. She has spent her career working in public schools; the past 13 years providing services to preschool age children. She has a vast amount of experience working with a variety of speech and language impairments. Melissa is focused on providing services that are fun and engaging to the client while focused on developing effective communication skills. Melissa has three teenage sons that keep her busy.

Olivia

Olivia is a speech language pathologist (clinical fellow) who graduated from Miami University with a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. She completed her undergraduate work at Eastern Kentucky University where she studied communication sciences and disorders and is originally from Vandalia, Ohio. Olivia is passionate about building and enhancing communication abilities across the lifespan. She has worked in a variety of settings including adult rehabilitation and pediatric outpatient hospitals and schools. She has experience working with children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, apraxia, dysphagia, those with augmentative and alternative communication needs, and more, as well as adults with neurogenic language conditions, dysarthria, and other neurologic diagnoses. In her free time, Olivia enjoys running, reading, watching sports, and taking trips to the beach. 

Michelle
Billing Manager

Michelle grew up in Nashville TN, and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Mass Communications. She earned a certificate in Medical Billing and Coding from Southwest College in Dayton OH, and has twelve years of revenue cycle experience with emphasis on physician side billing and claims follow up.

When not working, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and their family, which includes young grandchildren! Michelle loves jazz music, is an avid Alabama football fan, and her favorite hobby is horseback trail riding, with a passion for the American Quarter Horse breed.
